Description: 1899-SMORGAN SILVER DOLLAR The MORGAN SILVER DOLLAR has a face value of one dollar. The Morgan Silver Dollar was minted from 1878 - 1921 and replaced the Seated Liberty Dollar. The obverse depicts a profile portrait representing Liberty while the reverse depicts an eagle with outstretched wings. Designed by George T. Morgan, his initial M. is found at the truncation of the neck and also on the reverse on the left hand part of the ribbon.
