Description: This listing is for an 1899 O Micro O VAM-4 Morgan Dollar NGC MS62. Very scarce and highly collectable VAM variety. Of all the micro O varieties VAM-4 has seen one of the lowest submissions in an absolute sense, surpassed in rarity only by the VAM-32. All are obtainable with some patience in circulated grades, but uncirculated examples are extremely scarce. Only a hand full are known to exist. The presently offered coin is toned a medium steel grey. The coin is well struck and there are no serious bag marks. Limited in grade by the toned over fields and somewhat subdued luster, though there is ample cartwheel luster for the grade. At the time of listing this was tied with 1 other for finest VAM-4 at NGC.
