Description: The programme was previously mounted on card to the reverse. The remnants of this are still present, covering the rear outer page. I've not attempted to remove this. It is fragile, with a rusted staple, and though the pages are still just fixed it requires careful handling. All seven races are present, with a small number of pencil betting annotations alongside chosen horses. The Triple Crown winner Flying Fox was expected to race in the seventh, but I don't believe he did in the end, as he is described as unbeaten in 1899 and this race was in fact won by Convoy, riden by Flying Fox's usual jockey, Morny Cannon. First Day programme, on what would become to be known as Glorious Goodwood. Please see photographs provided which serve as the best possible description. I post all paper items protected and in proper card backed envelopes. I never add additional folds, if the item is shown with a parcel postage price that is because it is oversized and will not fit in a small or large letter envelope. I'm always happy to combine postage when I can. I only ever use GSP for international shipping, if you are buying more than one item please wait until they provide you with a final invoice as they cannot combine shipping retropectively. Thanks for looking.
