Description: Wonderful handwritten ledger of meeting minutes from the Roland, OH Knights of Pythias Lodge #305. Includes details of meetings from Jan 1897 to May 1899. Knights of Pythias is a fraternal order and a secret society. Pages are unnumbered and have a meeting minute template printed on all of the pages. There are a few blank notebook style lined pages in the back. Template includes: Name & Date Committee & Trustee Reports Membership and Conferring of Ranks Receipts Other Info. See pictures for an example. Covers scuffed, scratched, torn, and discolored. Binding Loose and Spine torn. Pages are yellowed with some stains and creases. Handwriting is wonderful and is present on all but a few pages. Edges stained and/or scratched. Measures approximately 14.0" L x 8.5" W x .75" Thick. Look at pics for more on condition. Great piece of Ohio history with gorgeous pages of handwriting. Could be added to a collection, used to research local history, or used for journals, art, mixed media, collage, or other projects.
