Under that: “The W. & H. Co. Patents July 17 ’94, April 14 ’96, July 21 ’96”. I think The W. & H. Co. might be Whitehead & Hoag. Based on the dates that William McKinley served, I would think that the dates on the Patents would be in the 1800’s. William McKinley was the 25th President of the United States, serving from March 4, 1897, until his assassination on September 14, 1901 This item comes from a home where all have been COVID vaccinated and boostered.
