Description: Up for sale is a copy of "THE MARVELS IN ART OF THE FIN DE SIECLE" Containing The Most Notable Paintings Of To-Day Selected From The Modern Masterpieces Of The Great World's Columbian Exhibition. Once Hundred Large Plates (Photogravures) - Also One Hundred Typogravures. With Descriptive Text by Henri Sylvestre, Jr. Published in 1893 by The Gebbie Publishing Co., Limited, Publishers, Philadelphia. Two (2) Volume Set. Each book is approximately 14" x 20". The boards of both books are in Fair Condition. The gilt-stamped leather boards are present, but no longer attached. The leather is stained, scratched, rubbed and tearing. The spines are scuffed and the leather is rubbed. The corners are bumped and torn. Internally, both books are in Very Good Condition. There is some browning, spotting and stains on the pages, but they are mostly along the edges of the pages. The pages are gilt edged. This is an AWESOME book for any collector.
