Description: Measuring about 4 1/4 inches in length this is a beautifully done example of a collectible spoon made for the Knox Gelatine Company at the Columbian Exposition Worlds Fair of 1892 1893. Spoon features a picture of a bust of Cow ( the source of Gelatine) at the top and an ornately written Knox’s Sparkling Gelatine in the bowl of the spoon. Spoon has an unusual marking on the back… “Sterling Plate”. Spoon boasts of “Only Medal at the Worlds Fair” on the front of the poon.
