This is a small coffee spoon or demitasse spoon marked on the back "Webb Ball Co.-Cleveland O.-Sterling-Pat'd" and on the front "Garfield". According to my reference book spoons like this one were produced in 1891 as a Memorial to President Garfield. The bowl features a furled flag surrounded by stars. The spoon measures 4" long, weighs 10.3 grams and is in Very Good condition. Great piece to add to any collection....wonderful gift item too.
