R. Clinton, who was an instructor or candidates for the Army examinations, and an author of 'A Compendium of English History'. With one page of publisher's adverts to rear of text.Collated, complete. CONDITION In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, generally sart. Wear to the extremities adn to the spine, with fading to the bands of joints and marks particularly to the front board.Several marks to the front paste down and endpaper, with a bit of cockling. Hinges are starting. Internally, firmly bound, with binding loosening in places. Several pages are loosening from binding and may detach with further handling. Pages are very clean throughout.
