Description: 1888 Allen and Ginter N18 Fan of the Period. A rare and extremely difficult set to find in nice condition. The set features 50 Beautiful women with a play on words for military commands. A bit racy for the time and a glimpse into the fashion and pomp of the 1880’s. You rarely see these come up for sale as this set seems to be harder to find than most of the other A&G issues of the time. These listings have taken decades to accumulate and these cards are extremely nice with the only issues seeming to be centering on the front. Sharp corners, straight edges clean backs. and At 132 years old, these cards are in amazing condition.
