1884 HC HISTORICAL WONDER BOOK ILLUSTRATED GREEN CARLYLE CREASY SCHILLER

Description: I have numerous vintage books that I will be listing. These have been stored in an attic for many years. They do have a slight musty smell but not overpowering. They are still good vintage readable books. This listing is for one vintage book titled - Historical Wonder-Book. A Library of Standard History. Including Green's Larger History of the English People, Schiller's History of the Thirty Years' War, Creasy's Fifteen Decisive Battles of the World, Charlyle's History of the French Revolution. With Illustrations. John B. Alden, Publisher. 1884. This book does have scuffing/wear to the covers, edges, corners, and spine ends. Previous owner's name and date 1885 written inside front cover page. A piece of paper glued to the inside front cover. When opening the front and back covers, it is split down the hinge and a few pages are loose in the book, but still with the book. There are a few pages that have mild spotting and tears in the margins but does not affect the reading. The pages are yellowing due to age. If you can get past the flaws, this is still a good vintage readable book. If you have any questions, please feel free to message me and I will do my best to answer them. I do combine shipping, when possible. Books are mailed via Media Mail. All other items, I select 2 options - one is priority, and the other is ground advantage. Both now carry insurance up to $100. I do wrap with bubble wrap and pack with peanuts but can't be responsible on the handling once it is left at the Post Office. I do charge $1.00 shipping/handling fee to help with the cost of shipping supplies (bubble wrap, packing peanuts, padded mailers, boxes etc.). I only mail within the United States.
