Randolph Caldecott was an English illustrator considered to be one of the most influential children’s illustrators of the nineteenth century. His brother, Alfred, worked with him on this volume to translate Aesop’s fables from the Greek. Any issues with hinges or binding due to age or wear could provide an excellent opportunity for restoration, if desired. COLI1883ABCO
