A word synonymous for all that is exotic and mysterious. In this stage we bring you British and native cavalrymen serving in the Indian Army. From the rocky passes of the Khyber to the lush Bengal forests, these figures bespeak all that was the British Empire. An Officer in the Indian Army between 1883-1913 served in a cavalry regiment known as Lancers, which were renowned for their long lances and mounted combat tactics, stationed in the British Indian Army during that period; they would have been part of the colonial administration overseeing India and would have primarily been responsible for maintaining order and conducting military operations across the vast territory. Some notable Lancer regiments in the British Indian Army during this time included the "3rd Cavalry (The Prince of Wales's Own Hussars)," "7th Cavalry (The Bengal Lancers)," and "15th Lancers (The Duke of Cambridge's Hussars)."Series 77 Miniatures" was founded by Pat Bird and John Tassel to produce 77mm size miniatures (hence the company name); with their only fantasy line released around November 1979. John, however, decided to leave Series 77 to devote full time to the now world-famous Lassett Miniatures. In the early 1990s, Pat Bird decided to retire and sold the company however the new management were unable to make the business a success.Your shipment will arrive via USPS Priority Mail (1-4 business days) or USPS Ground Advantage (2-5 business days), after the 2-3 day processing time (upon paid purchase)WE CAN COMBINE-SHIP - ASK US FIRST!Shipment(s) sent out of Lemon Grove, California, USAWill be packed very well - READ OUR FEEDBACK!No Returns ***AN INVOICE WILL BE SENT AFTER PURCHASE, WHICH MAY REFLECT A MORE ACCURATE POSTAGE RATE FOR THIS ITEM - DON'T PASS THIS UP YET!
