Description: I am selling a rare 1883 Indian Princess $1 Gold Coin. Only 10,800 of these coins were ever minted and many more have been melted down. Her bust is nicely outlined, with some facial features defined and every letter of "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" shows. Most of LIBERTY can still be read on the headband! "1 Dollar" and the date are visible on the reverse. The wreath still has great detail and texture and all of the reeding can be seen on the edge of the coin. This coin is ex-jewelry as it still has a small piece of metal soldered on the reverse. It also has a scratch on the reverse. Still a very scarce piece to add to any type coin collection! Guaranteed authentic! Please use the pictures to determine the grade and feel free to ask any questions that you have. Will ship next day once payment is received. Check out my other coins for sale as shipping is free for multiple purchases.
