Description: Jos. Martin Inftrumentenmacher Zither guitar, made in Würzburg Germany 1882. This is 142 years old, the tuning pegs are made of bone/ivory along with the feet on the bottom. There is no key for the case and one side of the lock is missing. It’s 100% still playable and tunable, it sounds great, it’s loud and will shake the floor below you. It’s only missing 2 of 31 strings, which appears to be the original strings, they are definitely hand made and old. Everything works and functions as it should, the case still opens, closes, and locks smoothly, the interior of the case is in really good condition, a little bit of wear shows in a few spots from the feet rubbing on it for all those years. Also has tuning key.
