Description: 1880’s German Wax Over Paper Mache Doll 16” Blue Sleep Eyes Dress Under Garments This doll is in beautiful condition for her age! Has a wonderful antique necklace. Mechanical sleep eyes. She does not really sit - her body is mostly stiff. Arms are soft after the shoulder plate which is wax. Arms from elbow are wax. Not sure was material the body is made of. Large calves. Boots have some paint chipping but not chipped to the material. She has beautiful layers of undergarments.
