A total of 9 full-page colour lithographic caricatures. With 'Vanity Fair' and date of publication (1879-1892) printed in top margin, and publishing details and captions printed in bottom margin, and mainly signed in the plate by the artist (4 by 'Spy', 3 by 'Go', 1 by 'Ape' and one unsigned [but by François Verheyden]. Versos blank as published. Size: each approx. 39cm x 25cm (one slightly wider).Very Good to Good condition. Surfaces of the printed caricatures themselves in presentable condition. Light foxing and/or handling marks to a few. A couple with minor surface blemishes. The blank edges of a number of sheets with small closed tears and/or light soiling. A couple with small holes in the left margin where removed from stitched binding.
