1874 Joh. Engstrom Monogrammed Straight Razors Three Razor Set In 3-Razor Box

All three razors have natural scales that are etched and inked with the monogram, "G.S.C," (I think). The tangs are marked, "Joh. Engstrom, Eskilstuna, Sweden, 50" on one side and "J.E., 1874," along with an arrow trademark on the reverse. One razor's scales are cracked on one side (see pictures). All three razors have 11/16 inch wide (.62" - .71") blades that show little evidence of hone wear. There are no nicks in the razors' cutting edges and they're free of any cracks. The blades have 2 3/4 inch cutting edges and seem to be their original full lengths. All three blades were coated with a substance while stored which lightly tarnished the blades along their spines (see pictures). The blades fit loosely between the scales. The set comes in a black, leather-covered three-razor box that's lined in satin and velvet with a clasp that works well. The box's lid has some rippling and the linings may have been replaced (see pictures), but it's in very nice condition. Insurance is required on all shipments and will be charged with a handling fee and included in the shipping quote.
