It is from the German Bilder Atlas, considered the most extensive lexicon of natural and scientific images of the 19th century, published in Leipzig by Brockhaus, 1874. It is labeled in German. A facsimile copy of the title page is included. It is being sold as a single sheet from the Atlas, not matted nor framed, as seen in the pic. It is a very linear rendering of the ancient work, basically as seen in the pic. Size: The image area measures approximately 8 1/2 by 11 1/2 inches (22x30cm) on a 10 1/2 by 13" (27x34cm) page with a margin all around as seen in the pic. Condition: It is in Very Good condition for its age with light tonal ageing, blank on the reverse, printed on strong paper. It is basically as seen in the pic. There are a couple of very minor spots in the margin, hardly worth mentioning, otherwise the print is very clean. It is basically as shown in the pic, see the large detailed pic for closer inspection of condition. The pics are of the actual print.
