Description: 1872 $10 Commercial College Bank - East Greenwich, RHODE ISLAND College Note 1872 $10 The Commercial College Bank, Providence Conference Seminary, College Currency note from East Greenwich, Rhode Island.The school was incorporated in 1802 and began enrollment in 1804. In 1841, the school was affiliated with the Methodist Episcopal Church. Doing business with several name changes along the way, the school was at one time graduating three quarters of the teachers in the state. After dwindling enrollment in the 1930s and 1940s, the school closed in 1943.This note grades Very Fine with a couple pinholes on the left, a hard center crease, a ~3/8" split on the top, and a small tear on the bottom.
