Description: 1870s CDV of a Victorian man in a very elaborate ceremonial outfit for a fraternal order or a military uniformed man with cap, saber long sword with a large elaborate handguard at his side. He also has a cigar or cigarette in left hand next to table. I have no idea or the country if it is military or the organization if it is a fraternal order. No identification of the man is available or the location that photo was taken. Some of my research points to Imperial German Military Pre-WWI maybe, but it could also be France, Spain etc. Someone more knowledgeable of uniforms will have no problem. Measures: 2 1/2in x 4in ~ no front border ~ no back imprint Condition: GOOD, with some fading/wear ~ Please examine all photos as they are part of the condition description ~ This is an antique, there is some level of wear.
