1/87 HO Scale Old City Hall Building Heljan #HO 221 Shrink Wrapped MISB

Description: I need to clear some space on my shelves, so I have to part with some of my collection. THIS IS MY LAST ONE! I still have fond memories of the 4x8 HO train layout I had back in the 70s. I think it was really my dad’s thing, but I liked the remote-controlled switches and the big knob to control the train speed. I am sure it is not sophisticated by today’s standards, but the track was segmented so you could run more than one engine at a time. I spent most of my time building the models for the layout, which is where this kit comes in. Heljan is a Danish company that started back in 1957 making scenic products and kits for model railroads. They have recently focused on rolling stock, so these kits are getting harder to find. This is their classic kit of the Old City Hall building with stone foundation and steep roof for an authentic city or small town scene. I only found one listing for this kit on eBay, but as a Top Rated Plus US Seller, I have this in stock and can reliably ship to you very quickly. Here is some of the info I found from around the web about this rare and hard-to-find kit: The Heljan company websites (heljan.dk and heljan.co.uk) do not mention this kit so I assume it is Out of Production or Discontinued. Other sources point out the following kit highlights: § 1:87 scale§ For ages 12 and up§ 13cm Long, 11cm Wide, 19cm High This kit is in a small box about 9” x 7” x 1.5” showing a finished model. As you can see from the pictures, the package is pristine and still sealed with the original shrink wrap, so it is factory sealed and absolutely gift-ready. This item contains one complete injection molded plastic model kit that is about 5.1” L x 4.3” W x 7.5” H when completed. It requires cement and paint to complete as shown.
