1/87 HO Scale Long Platform with Waiting Room Heljan #HO 714 Shrink Wrapped MISB

Description: I have to clear some space on my shelves, so I need to part with some of my collection. I still have fond memories of the 4x8 HO train layout I had back in the 70s. I think it was really my dad’s thing, but I liked the remote-controlled switches and the big knob to control the train speed. I am sure it is not sophisticated by today’s standards, but the track was segmented so you could run more than one engine at a time. I spent most of my time building the models for the layout, which is where this kit comes in. Heljan is a Danish company that started back in 1957 making scenic products and kits for model railroads. They have recently focused on rolling stock, so these kits are getting harder to find. This is their classic kit of the long Platform with Waiting Room (Bahnsteig mit Wartehalle) with light poles and signage that would be appropriate on any layout. I only found two listings for this kit on eBay, but as a Top Rated Plus US Seller, I have this in stock and can reliably ship to you very quickly. Here is some of the info I found from around the web: The Heljan company websites (heljan.dk and heljan.co.uk) do not mention this kit so I assume it is Out of Production or Discontinued. Other sources point out the following kit highlights: § 1:87 scale§ For ages 12 and up§ 60cm Long, 9cm Wide, 6.5cm High This kit is in a box about 9.5” x 7” x 1.5” showing a finished model. As you can see from the pictures, the package is pristine and still sealed with the original shrink wrap, so I consider it factory sealed and absolutely gift-ready. This item contains one complete injection molded plastic model kit that is about 23.6” L x 3.5” W x 2.6” H when completed. It requires cement and paint to complete as shown.
