Description: (1867) The Bankrupt Law of the United States - Edwin James - (HC) (VG). This book is in generally very good condition. The binding is strong and all pages are clean and intact. There are very small pencil notations at the top of the title page, but otherwise this book is free of writing, highlighting, or underlining. The hardcover has some scuffing and spots of discoloration but is very sturdy and the spine particularly displays beautifully. The gold lettering is very clear with little to no fading. It appears that someone spilled ink on the the rear cover and the front edge of the book at some point. This stain is visible in the photos and does not extend to the interior pages at all. An example of this can be seen in the photos. There are photos of the book from multiple angles, publication information, and pages. Please see all photos before purchasing and feel free to contact me with any questions.
