Description: This is a very large and heavily illustrated old book. It was published in 1866 by Librairie Hachette in Paris and is in French. The cover has a leather spine and marbled boards, and the interior covers are marbled as well. The book is entitled Le Tour du Monde, Nouveau Journal des Voyages, by M. Edouard Charton, and also has the Roman numeral XIII, so I’m guessing it was part of a series. It is 434 pages long and there are illustrations and maps on almost every page. It is large and measures 12 by 9 inches. It has a lot of foxing and some stains to page edges, but is very good condition considering its age. Even if you don’t read French, the drawings are very interesting. Please see photos and thanks for looking.
