Assassinated April 14th 1865." New York, Published by Currier & Ives 152 Nassau St. This is the larger and very scarce Currier & Ives print. The size of the print revealed by the mat is 13" x 16". The sheet size originally published was 13.5" x 18". I have not had this out of the frame or mat, so I'm reporting what I can see. All over very light toning, with some light stains and one dark mark on Lincoln's sleeve. A 1" tear from the edge at the top center. Two .5" tears from the edge on the right side. One tiny one at the lower edge center. Purchased in Milwaukee, in the 80's, from The Old Print Shop, owned by Arnold J. Prochey. Nicely framed and matted, overall frame size 22" x 25". Some damage to the gilding on the frames upper right corner. Expertly done, good choices and displays very well. Shipping is FREE in the USA. Items are usually shipped within 24 hours of payment.
