McCANCE enlisted with the 120th Ohio Infantry Co. "D" as a Private Union soldier around August 29th, 1862. Hiram H. and Elvira 'Gailey' (1847-1910) had 3 children: Albert (1871-1943); Mary Helen 'McCance' Taggert (1877-1954); and Lura Lucile 'MCance' Kilgore (1887-1974). Hiram and Elvira are both buried in the Fredericksburg East Side Cemetery in Fredericksburg, (Wayne Co.), OH The size of this Marriage Certificate is: 8.5' by 3' inches and in very GOOD condition.
