Description: This is a mezzotint engraving by Samuel Sartain, published in 1863 after a painting by Charles Eastlake 1793-1865. It’s titled, “Christ Blessing Little Children”, published in Philadelphia by Bradley & Co. There is an L shaped crease just above Christ’s head and has some yellowing and stains around the edges, but I believe it would frame well. The full sheet measures 19 1/2”x 16 1/4”, the engraved portion measures 16”x 11 3/4”. It will be shipped flat.
