Description: 1861 Harper's Weekly Newspaper Woodcut Illustration. Title is General Siegel Forcing his Prisoners to Draw Off His Cannon At The Battle of Springfield. This battle is better known as Wilsons Creek. Siegel was from Delaware. This is a woodcut from the original newspaper but I never wrote down the exact date. The battle was on August 10, 1861 so it was early in the war. it is approx. 7 x 11 inches. VG-EX condition. A couple of very minor, small creases, some printer's ink at lower right. I use a poor/fair/good/very good/excellent/mint grading system and grade very conservatively (see my feedback). This does NOT necessarily correspond to the generic Ebay grading system that we must use. Shipping is $3.95 in the U.S. International Buyers – Please NotePlease obtain shipping quote before bidding. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. Thank you. We cannot be responsible for transit times through customs.
