Description: Original CDV of a man smoking through an unusual looking device, maybe technically a hookah / opium pipe? But it's smaller than in pics I've seen, fitting in one hand. There is no studio imprint or ID on the blank back, but this was from an album with many 1860s and 1870s CDVs by Carson City and Virginia City, Nevada studios, so I think this was taken there as well.About 4" x 2.5" with a blank back, as produced. Some condition issues, a scuff in the upper-left area and top layer damage, upper-right tip. Shipping: First Class (flat mailer). Boxed Priority Mail also available.
