Description: Up for sale is a silver-plated cake knife made by Rogers Bros. in the “Vintage” (Grape) pattern. This piece measure approximately 10" in length with the blade measuring about 5 3/4” long by 1 5/8” at the widest part. It is marked 1847 Rogers Bros on the blade.This piece has been hand polished for your immediate use. It does not have a monogram or signs of removal. There are no dents, bends or repairs, the surfaces show age related scratches and use marks, especially on the blade. There is some minor plating wear along the blade edge and bolster along with some age spots. The pattern on this piece is bold with some darkness in the recesses.
