A great find from a local Massachusetts estate! This antique volume is over 181 years old! In great condition overall! Publisher decorative cloth binding is in great shape overall, showing just light soiling and rubbing, as well as toning and some discoloration to the boards and spine, some general wear and light fraying to the cloth around the extremities, light bumping to the corners and a bit of soiling and spotting to the page edges. Gilt title lettering to the spine still reads nicely from the shelf. A well preserved antique volume! Internally this volume is in great shape as well. Both boards and all page groupings are firmly attached to the binding. Signed by the former owner in pen on the front free endpaper. Otherwise clean with no bookplates, inscriptions or other markings to note. The text block itself is in good condition throughout. Pages show light toning from age, as well as some light foxing scattered throughout, but are very clean overall and free from rips, tears, writing and markings. Perfectly readable throughout!
