Volume one has a folding frontispiece and 242 illustrations Volume two also has 242 illustrations. There is a signed dedication to the front free endpaper of both volumes from the author which states: From Alex Fletcher, to his young friend Mr Robert Bretmall Junior as a Testimony of Easter. London, Jan 9th, 1840. CONDITION In the original cloth binding. Externally, worn to the spine and boards. Internally, firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages. There is a signed dedication in both volumes to the front free endpapers.
