A rare and important poetry book, it is the first time authorship is attributed to Clement C. Moore. The book measures 6 x 9.5 inches. Construction is embossed cloth over board with gilt cover designs. This 186 year old book is in very good condition overall. The covers shows considerable wear around the edges, especially the spine tips, but still handsome. Pages have deckled edges with foxing throughout. The frontispiece tissue is still present.
