The print is on a sheet approximately 6 x 5.5 inches (20 x 13.5 cm). Drawn by Thomas ALLOM, (1804-1872). Published in London by Fisher, Son & Co., 1835. A delightful antique print. Engraved by J. Phelps from an original study by Thomas Allom. Originally produced for the part-work "Northern Tourist" series (London : 1832-1835). Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 103 x 153mm (approx. 4" x 6"). In very good and clean state. Overall in good condition. Keswick is an English market town and civil parish, historically in Cumberland, and since 1974 in the Borough of Allerdale in Cumbria. The town, in the Lake District National Park, just north of Derwentwater, and 4 miles (6.4 km) from Bassenthwaite, had a population of 4,821 at the time of the 2011 census.
