Description: A rare original 18mm Andrew Jackson second term silver 1833 inauguration medal which has been made by a skilled jeweler into a watch winding key. All silver with a gold clasp of some kind at the top. Not sure how that was used. I could have dipped it to make it bright again, but I like it original as is. I found the same medal (medal only not as this) for sale at $450. The medal itself is listed as DeWitt AJ 1832-4. Made at the U.S Philadelphia mint to commemorate Jackson's second term. PR 33 in Julian. The obverse has a bust of Jackson to left. The reverse has an inscription AND. JACKSON INAUGURATED PESIDT. enclosing U.S. SECOND TERM/ MAR. IV/ 1833 with a bow and arrow pointing to the date. A quite scarce for sure Hard Times Token related and Political medal for your consideration. See the scans. U.S. shipping is $4. It will cost me more. PayPal preferred. I am always open to offers on any of my listings. Just ask. Worst thing is I say no. I combine shipping and usually add nothing and when I do just enough to cover postage and insurance. If you pay too much postage I will refund the excess.
