With the stamp of Escrick Park to the engraved title page, and their inscription to the head of the letterpress title page.A beautifully illustrated work. CONDITION In the publisher's original morocco binding. Significant rubbing to joints and back strip head and tail, with further rubbing to board perimeters. Front hinge strained, but firmly held. Bookplate to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Stamp to engraved title page, with inscription to head of letterpress title page. Instances of foxing throughout, most concentrated to plates and leaves surrounding them.
