Description: Lovely miniature portrait painting of a woman in a black dress, circa 1830s. Frame appears to be slightly later, painted wood with a brass oak leaf and acorn decoration and brass hanger at the top of the frame. Signed J. It appears to have been reframed at a later date. Small nick in the wooden frame, as shown.
