Description: This is an original 47 page pamphlet entitled, "Christianity Designed and Adapted to be a Universal Religion - A Discourse Delivered at the Ordination of the Rev. James W. Thompson, as Pastor of the South Congregational Society, in Natick, Feb. 17, 1830" by Alexander Young, minister of the church on Church Green, Boston. It was "published by request" in Boston by Gray and Bowen in 1830. The pamphlet has an appendix which is a story about John Eliot - "The Apostle to the American Indians". This pamphlet is in good condition for its age, though the front cover is poor and there is no back cover. Our specialty is reuniting "Orphaned Heirlooms" back to families.
