Description: We recently acquired in excess of 1000 volumes of Art & Architecture. There are fabulous plates and prints in most of these volumes. They are ex-library volumes and have the usual stamps & markings. A wonderful change to expand or start a library! This will take a couple of months to list every volume. These are in either French, Italian, German, Spanish or English text. Please ask any questions you may have! This is a volume titled, "Monuments des arts du dessin chez les peuples tant anciens que modernes" by Vivant Denon & Amaury Duval. This is Volume No. 1 from 1829 featuring nice plates inside. The volume is huge and measures approx. 14 1/2' X 21 1/2". The text is in French. The outside is in overall poor to fair condition. The outer boards are worn and rubbed. The front board is loose. There is some damage to the spine. The inside pages are in overall fair to good condition. There may be some nicks, creases, smudge marks and/or minor tears inside.
