An extremely scarce first edition, particularly rare with frontispiece depicting Priest’s Divine Dispensations Chart. The chart is rarely found intact. A popular title reprinted at least seven times in two years. Priest is best known for his pseudoscientific writings about Native Americans. He was also a friend of Oliver Cowdrey, one of the founders of Mormonism, and, while it is not known if Cowdrey ever read this work, proponents of the theory that Cowdrey partially wrote the Book of Mormon point to parallels with Christian Millenium.
