In a beautiful half leather binding.'Table-Talk' comprises Volume X of Constable's Miscellany and was published in 1827. With a vignette illustrated title page.'Illustrations of British History Volume I' comprises volume XX of Constable's Miscellany, and was published in 1828. With a vignette illustrated title page.'Rebellions in Scotland 1638-1660' comprises volume XXXI of Constable's Miscellany, and was published in 1828. With a vignette illustrated title page.'Life of Cromwell' is complete in two volumes, and comprises volumes XLVII and XLVIII of Constable's Miscellany, and was published in 1829. With vignette illustrated title pages to each volume.'The Life of King James the First' was penned by Robert Chambers, and is complete in two volumes. Both volumes contain an illustrated frontispiece. This was published in 1830.'Bourrienne's Memoirs of Napoleon' is complete in three volumes, and comprises volumes LVII, LVIII and LIX of Constable's Miscellany. They were published in 1830. Each volume has a vignette illustrated title page.'The Book of Butterflies, Sphinxes and Moths' is complete in three volumes, and comprises volumes LXXV, LXXVI and LXXVII of Constable's Miscellanies. Each volume has a vignette illustrated title page, as well as a profuse number of plates in full colour and black and white depicting the butterflies. These were published between 1832 and 1834. CONDITION In a half calf binding with gilt detail to the spine. Externally generally smart, some minor rubbing to the spines, with chipping to the head of Life of Cromwell I and Memoirs of Napoleon. Internally, firmly bound, pages are bright and clean.
