I had intended to have sold off a considerable portion of my stock this fall, but this I could not do without making a scandalous sacrifice; you know that beef is now & has been for six months unusually low. I shall then in all probability about 3,000M wool in the ensuing spring and if you insist on payment, shall be obliged to throw this into the market and forego the advantage of manufacturing it.
