Description: PCGS authenticated and graded XF 45. Glossy medium chocolate brown, a bit lighter shade of brown on the reverse thanks to an old cleaning. The obverse is very smooth and the only marks are a few trivial ticks over star 1. The reverse is mostly smooth but there are some nicks around NT in CENT and traces of shallow verdigris at AMERICA. Obviously the cleaning and verdigris were not significant enough to deter the PCGS graders from assigning a nice grade to this cent. LDS, die state b.
