Description: This BUY IT NOW is for a nice piece of history...1806...WILLIAM CAMDEN's .....BRITANNIA.....ENGLAND, SCOTLAND,IRELAND.....Volume 1....2nd Edition.......Printed for JOHN STOCKDALE, LONDON....this is from a "coin collector's" estatesale.....and YES, it is aged, rough, but full of great histories......the large folio book (measures @ 2 1/2" x 10 1/2" x 17").Both the coverboards are present, but detached.....the title page is loose also (paper clipped to backing board)...and the interior text shows bottom 1/3rd of pages "water or whatever" stained...no smells etc.........HOWEVER, all the 648 interior pages are tight to the spine...( 206 intro/preface/coin/.etc pages, followed by 415 "text" pages, and 27 index pages)........the pics show the content, condition and age of this book....some @ 220 years.......Great for that collection....
