Description: Up for sale is a vintage brass tea kettle made by S. Sternau & Co. of New York. Flattened Aladdin's lamp style it was made in the late 1800s. The company was in existence from 1890 to 1930. Brass kettle holds 1 quart (4 cups). Has a black wooden handle and knob on the lid. Kettle is signed on the bottom. Has a few spots to the surface of the brass - no leaks, holds and heats water just fine. The stud on one side of the handle is a little bit loose - doesn't affect use.
