It is in extremely good condition for an older saddle. Like most older, well-cared for saddles, it did have some discoloration on the leather, so I re-dyed the saddle. I have been restoring designer handbags for years, so I know how to restore leather. The color is a medium brown. I tested the saddle with vigorous rubbing, and no dye comes off -- the dye is set, so there are no worries about the dye bleeding or flaking. It gives the saddle an updated, finished look and the leather remains soft and pliable. The saddle does not come with leathers but I am including a pair of stirrups with pads. Unfortunately, this saddle does not fit my new horse. He is very hard to fit, so I have no use for the saddle and am selling it. I love Stubben saddles. This saddle will make an excellent, nice-looking work saddle at a budget-friendly price point
