Description: These ice skates are superstars in the antique ice skate world. The craftsmanship is magnificent. They are wooden pegged as you can see and have very finely fitted brass pads. They are also magnificently long at approximately 18"! The red paint is beautiful with most of it being intact as shown. The leather straps are still pretty supple and still hold the buckles! If you appreciate quality antique craftsmanship you will appreciate this pair of 19th century ice skates.
