Description: Lovely 18" 1860s pink Tint or Luster Kestner civil war Era china head with leather arms. She has one of the darkest pink tints that I have seen on an 1860 head and I photographed her with another similar age China so you could see the contrast. Her tone is much more like the 1850 pink tint covered wagon heads. She has a very rounded deep sloping shoulder plate. There are no cracks or chips. There is no saw dust leaking. She is a wonderful example of her Era.she has the drawn red circles at her nostrils vs just a red dot which also proves her early beginnings. She has 1 finger on left hand that is holding on by a thread so I chose not to remove her dress top. She has had patches sewn to her early cloth body. She is wearing antique pantaloons, 2 petticoats, chemise, bustle, silk socks, and a very pretty 2pc dress. The dress is not antique but the cut and pattern is appropriate for her decade.
