Description: Nice period book with some beautiful calligraphy. Not sure of exact age, but the writing and calligraphy , and the way the book appears, it is consistent with being from the 1600’s-1700’s . This book has pencil and pen notations throughout as well as underlining , as though it was used for reference at one time. The page at the beginning of each chapter has some decorative calligraphy , and the penmanship scattered throughout is wonderful . The last page at the end of the book that is written Fin , is almost detached of the book and probably just need a bit of binding glue . The book measures about 4 5/8 x 6 5/8 inches. And has 276 numbered pages , with a Table of Chapters in the rear.
